Retirement Plus announces South-West seminar
Retirement Plus is to hold an equity release seminar for advisers based in the South-West of England.
The seminar will be held on Thursday 12th October at the Holiday Inn in Taunton between 5:30pm and 8pm. A hot buffet reception will follow the seminar.
The idea behind the seminar is for advisers to be able to learn about the latest developments in the equity release market and to share their own knowledge. There will also be talks on how advisers can continue to build and develop a successful equity release business.
Clive Martin of Ferret Information Systems will talk on the impact of equity release products on Welfare Benefit Entitlements.
Peter Barton, a partner at Ashfords Associates will help attendees to understand the role of a solicitor in advising their clients on equity release.
Chris MacMahon, senior relationship manager at Retirement Plus will provide his tips for marketing an equity release proposition.
Duncan Young, managing director at Retirement Plus, said: "It is very difficult for advisers to keep track of every change in the equity release market. We are hoping that the seminar will help to bring advisers up to speed and plan for the future of their businesses. If this is a success it could be the first of many."
For more information on the seminar or to reserve a place please call Tonya Cull on 020 7907 8582 or email her on tonya.cull@retirement-plus.co.uk. Attendance at the seminar is free, however the numbers are limited.
