Retirement Plus receives two accolades in the ftadviser.com online service awards 2008

Retirement Plus is delighted to announce that it has been awarded a ‘Four Star Service Award’ in the FTAdviser.com Online Service Awards 2008.

Retirement Plus also picked up a ‘Most Improved Mortgage Company*’ award at last night’s ceremony, which was held at The Science Museum in London.

As part of the criteria for the awards, IFA’s were given the chance to rate providers from one star (poor service) to five stars (excellent service) on each of the categories listed below:

  • Overall functionality & site design
  • Ease of transaction/business processing
  • Online product tools and literature
  • Reliability
  • Personal contact and support levels
  • Business support/commission service

Chris Rumsey, MD at Retirement Plus, said: “We are absolutely delighted to have won these awards, even more so because they have been voted for by IFAs who rely on our good service to carry out their business.

“The awards are a reflection of all the hard work and effort the team at Retirement Plus has put in to ensure we excel in this area. Prices and products are extremely competitive in the equity release market, so excellent service is one of the best ways to differentiate ourselves from our competitors.”

About Retirement Plus
*Retirement Plus is a provider of home reversion equity release products - it does not offer lifetime mortgages.
Retirement Plus is a Milton Homes company which specialises in providing equity release products. The Retirement Plus range of home reversion plans allow UK residents aged 65 or older to receive full market value for a share of their property at the start of the plan, in return for which they grant Retirement Plus an option to acquire an increasing beneficial share in the property over the life of the Plan. Significantly, these products enable the owner to release their share of the property over time, rather than giving up the full amount at inception. The homeowner can also elect to retain a “protected share” of the property.
Retirement Plus is authorised and regulated by the FSA and is a member of SHIP, the body which is dedicated entirely to the protection of planholders and to the promotion of safe home income and equity release plans. Retirement Plus only accepts business from customers who have received advice from brokers registered with the Financial Services Authority.
